For those of you who know me, you know I love a good bold brow. They shape the face and enhance your eye color and bone structure.
Well, folks. I had the craziest experience a few days ago while on a photo shoot in the blazing hot sun with one of my favorite brow products. I recently purchased a brow marker from Anastasia and I am IN LOVE with it. Seriously, I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. BUT, maybe you should wear it if you know you aren't going to be in extreme heat?
You guys. It was crazy. I believe it was around 106 degrees that day and after being exposed to the heat for 30 minutes (not in direct sunlight) not only was the brow marker running down my face but it had turned green. Yes, straight up green. Like when a cheap ring tarnishes your finger after getting wet. It was so hilarious and so awful.
For professional makeup artists such as myself, if you live somewhere that gets really hot or even humid I would NOT recommend using this product on your clients. I'd stick to a gel or powders. Ladies, for those of you who wear makeup on a daily basis, I would use this product in the fall or spring seasons when the temperature won't alter its appearance. This is a product I love and will continue to buy. I'm just happy I now know the consequences for using it when you live in the scorching desert.
